Virtual Card Sort
As a supplement or alternative to the classroom activity, have students try sorting these virtual disease cards into categories. They can view the answers below to check their work at various points in the activity.
Sort each disease into categories. Use the radio button to choose between Activity 1A (Infectious versus Non-Infectious) and Activity 1B (Infectious, Inherited, Environmental.)
Some diseases in 1B have more than one category, but you only need to select one for each. When you are done, scroll down and click "show" to reveal the answers.
